The wild and controversial conspiracy theory of #PizzaGate is a story of “lizard people” who are controlling humans from the basement of a pizza parlor. 🦎🍕 Filmmaker and writer John Valley tells a satirical story of an amateur journalist and a far-right militiaman who team up to expose the ugly truth behind rumors involving sex cults, a pizza place and the lizard people. #MeetTheTeam | Executive Producer, Ron Rendon
-
Ron proudly hails from the small desert town of Lordsburg, New Mexico, known to be a famous rest stop on Interstate 10 for people traveling to the West Coast. Luckily for us, Ron went east and moved to Austin in the mid-90s during the emerging film scene to start his career off as an Assistant Editor. He moved up to become a Junior Editor and eventually a Finishing Artist before he stumbled into being a Post Producer. Since then, he’s been leading creative teams as the Executive Producer of Charlie Uniform Tango, the Alamo Drafthouse’s Creative Department, and Beast’s Austin office. Ron is a collector who has an impressive collection of vintage airline tchotchke, original movie posters, and various poster art. You can find him swimming through the cool waters of Barton Springs, cruising to Top Notch Hamburgers in his 1968 Ford pickup, and taking walks in his beloved Crestview neighborhood.
